About Me

Je suis Eli, j'ai 27 ans et me suis current premier violin au sein de l'Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine.

J'ai commencé le violin à l'âge de 6 ans dans une école de musique locale, où me suis rapidement passionné pour l'instrument. J'ai ensuite intégré le Conservatoire Régional de Toulouse, où j'ai obtenu mon Diplôme d'études musicales (mention Très Bien à l'unanimité) à l'âge de 16 ans.

J'ai poursuivi mes études supérieures en Allemagne, à la Hochschule für Musik de Cologne, avant d'obtenir mon Master de violon (mention Très Bien) au Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique Lyon.

Education

I live on Rue du Serpent, in Pessac.

These courses are aimed at everyone, amateurs, beginners and advanced students alike. Preparations for entrance exams into the CNSM, and for orchestra positions.

I benefited from a classical course in Violin: Conservatory of Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, then CNSMD of Lyon, for my Masters.
I then joined the Bordeaux Aquitaine National Orchestra, where I currently hold the position of First Soloist.

I also give solo or piano sonata recitals.

Furthermore, I was able to benefit from lessons with Didier Lockwood for several years, which is why I also offer an introduction to jazz (improvisation, harmonies, rhythm).

I have performed with chamber groups including the Cras Trio and 20+ Modern Ensemble. I currently teach violin face-to-face in Bordeaux, France and Angouleme, France. I also work with students online who would like to recieve extra practice prior to orchestra auditions or competitions.

I have an active music company Violin Inc. that creates music opportunities and concerts for amateur musicians. It also provides educational lessons specifically for violin learning, using Suzuki and ABRSM methods with a mixture of American and European techniques.
* Learning violin online does cause extra obstacles, but I assure you it is possible with the right tools and patience.
My teaching methodology is created with a mixture of several music methods that suit each individual independently. We create the music method so that it suits your needs and helps you grow consistently.
I enjoy teaching classical music and classic-pop music. I believe in note reading as an essential part of violin training, so reading music and understanding simple theory is always included during lessons.
