At the start, the tools are simple: colored markers on paper. You will progress in stages. Drawing is a way to understand the world, and to know yourself. In drawing "on sight", as in fiction, (or drawing a memory) we make choices: we will look for the essentials and we erase the unimportant details. You discover great freedom with practice, and that's what counts.
Extra information
at least to start: colored markers and paper. Any other method that enchants you will be welcome.

About Me
Visual artist and clown, my approach is centered on the portrait: I like to draw places and people. I draw presence, postures, non-verbal language. My research crosses the tinfluences of contemporary dance, the clown and the filmed image. I collaborate with visual artists, musicians, sound and image engineers, for performances and short films. I teach cinema in middle and high schools with cinema option, and gestural theater (without words) to groups of children (association Le Tourne-livres, school rhythms, Môm'en Theater festival, colleges ...)
Education
training at the Havre Art School, then at the National Superior School of Circus Arts in Chalons en Champagne. Learning to draw in the city, in public gardens.
Experience / Qualifications
I trained in contemporary clowning with the ZIG clown (Dominique Chevallier-Cie François Cervantes) in cinema with Jean-François Neplaz and the Film-flame association, in digital arts with Isabelle Carlier and the Bandits-mages association. Solo performances and short films and drawings presented in galleries, art centers and festivals.
