This online class mentors you in academic reading and writing skills. Within the first two hours, you will learn how to read an academic article, and get mentored on how to unpack an essay topic and answer an essay question. Most Humanities areas included. The method is that of a flipped classroom, meaning you write or work on your essay while online with your mentor, getting real time, live input and assistance.

This online class is for absolute beginners, students struggling with writer's block, students in the humanities, also students who are in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree.

Method of how to unpack an essay question (1 hour, working with an essay the student is struggling with)
How to read an academic article (2 hours, working with an article found by the student. )
How to conceptualise a thesis proposal. (3 hour workshop)
