Specialising in 11 Plus, Primary school level Maths and English, in my tutoring approach, I like building a dialogue with my pupils which allows them to enjoy and take ownership of their learning. Once targets are identified, I put together lesson plans that will cater to my pupil's needs and learning style. Born in London, I moved to Cyprus at the age of 12 and continued my secondary education at a private English school. From there, I completed a BA in English Literature, followed by an MA in Media and Human Rights, and a qualification in Primary School Education (age range 5-11) back in the UK. I have a keen interest in Literature related to Mathematical phenomena and novels. I am a native English speaker and also fluent in Turkish.

German is a complex language with difficult grammar and pronunciation. Because it’s my first language, I am confident that I can help the students to improve their grades as best as possible. I test vocabularies regularly and try to make the grammar understandable on the basis of exercises.

Social studies as well as science of education persist both of many theories and philosophy. Sometimes it is hard to understand these theories or to memorise them for an upcoming test. I want to make the theories more practical to the student by using examples to explain them. I’d test them regularly by asking for the most relevant facts.

Moreover math is also quite difficult for some students to understand. I already gave math tutor classes for students and it’s very helpful to just make as many exercises and examples as possible and in doing so explaining problems and raising questions.
