Physics and Maths Tutor for GCSE and A-Level Revision
From 52 £ /h
I am a 24 year old physics teacher at an independent college in Hertfordshire. I am a Durham University graduate with a BSc (Hons) in Physics and a PGCE in Secondary Science (Physics with Maths). I have been teaching and tutoring since 2017.
My passion in life is teaching. I experienced success at school and at university due to amazing and unforgettable teachers. This is the foundation of my commitment to helping out my students, whatever their abilities may be. I have been told that my approach to teaching is enjoyable and accessible to students.
I strive to create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere to encourage effective learning and to give my full attention and support to help students through problems. I am patient, friendly, and have many techniques I have developed for helping students gain a real understanding of their subject.
I like to identify any problem areas, from exam confidence to subject understanding, and then adapt my tutoring to fit their needs. I always make sure a student is understanding the topic by asking questions throughout the tutorial, and usually attempting an exam question to close the session.
