Concert violinist gives violin lessons! I will help to develop playing technique and musical imagination.

Translated by Google. Click to view original.
    About the course

Teaching violin has become my great passion over the past few years. I love sharing my experiences with other people and am happy when I can help others to discover their musical passion. Many years of learning and working with the best professors in Europe allow me to pass on my knowledge of playing technique and interpretation to others. I invite you to discover the world of music together!

    About me

I'm a student and I give concerts as a soloist. I have already played in many halls in Europe, e.g. B. in the National Music Forum in Wrocław, in the National Polish Radio Orchestra in Katowice, in the Tonhalle Düsseldorf, in the Paris Conservatory, in the Great Theater in Warsaw, and I have given concerts in Dubai. I also have experience in chamber and orchestra playing. I have participated in many violin competitions.
Thanks to these experiences I think I can pass on knowledge about technique, interpretation and also how to fight stress during a performance.

Professional Violin Lessons for Beginners and Intermediates: Technical, Theoretical and Expressive Development, with a Personalized Approach
This violin course is designed for beginners and intermediate students, and aims to develop the essential technical and musical skills for playing smoothly and expressively. The program includes learning the fundamentals of violin playing, such as correct posture, grip, and producing a clear tone. You'll work on scales and arpeggios to develop your dexterity, as well as bowing techniques to master different stroke patterns. Sheet music reading, musical analysis, and music theory practice are integrated into the course to strengthen your theoretical knowledge and music-reading skills. Alongside this, you'll explore a diverse repertoire, ranging from classical works to more contemporary pieces, and will have the opportunity to work in a group to improve your listening and coordination with other musicians. The course also includes personalized guidance to structure your practice and prepare you for performances, with an emphasis on musical expression and managing stage fright. My approach aims to make each student independent and to encourage their musical development in a caring and motivating environment.

Viola and Violin Lessons: Technique, Improv, and a Healthy Relationship with your Instrument
This course is for viola and violin students from the beginner through the high school level, and any age from 5-99! My goal is for my students to foster a healthy and long-term relationship with their instrument. The course focuses on practicing and truly understanding technique, with an emphasis on listening. Weekly assignments tend to include technical exercises, scales, and classical pieces of the student's choice. Basic improvisation is also an interest of mine and, I find, a valuable experience for my string students. I believe repertoire is largely a matter of student taste. Students of mine have learned pieces in the Suzuki books and other classical repertoire volumes, but have also learned pop and fiddle songs according to their interest. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Violin Performance from the University of Puget Sound, where I graduated in 2015 before moving to Vienna to study privately for three years. I am currently on hiatus from a Master of Viola Performance degree at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague . I have been teaching violin intermittently since 2009. While my musical education is classical, my performance interests are much wider. I have performed jazz and pop improv, and am currently exploring how hip hop can be implemented on the viola and violin.
