Hello! My name is Olesia and I'm a 23-year-old Italian currently living in Dublin. Recently, I graduated with a degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering, and I'm particularly skilled in math. I'm eager to share my knowledge and help others learn, so I'd love to teach you math. Additionally, since Italian is my mother tongue, I can also offer lessons in Italian. Most important is that each course is based on the needs, interests and availability of the student. - The method is mainly what is called communicative, aimed at stimulating the student to speak immediately and put the focus on the functional aspect of the language. For beginners, I usually follow a specific program, I prepare a course and for each lesson I send students the files that I scan from the various books. Also the lessons can be essentially developed as conversations on specific subjects.

In my course we will start with the linguistic and phonetic basics to then advance to more complex writings. You will practice speaking and correct pronunciation, to then arrive at written exercises, which you will also have to do at home to better assimilate the contents.

I’m a native Italian speaker with a Bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures, I studied in particular English, German and Italian didactic. Right now I'm about to take a Master's Degree in Translation for International Relations. Three years ago I started teaching Italian during my university internship and I understood that's what I want to do for a living. Since then I never stopped: I volunteered as an Italian teacher to refugees and I started teaching online courses for those who love and would like to get to know this beautiful language! I also attended a specific course about teaching languages using games and a playful approach for adults. I use a fresh approach to language teaching: I like to adjust my method to my student. I taught to people coming from all around the world and of all ages: from 8 to 71! My method depends on the source language; the starting level; the final goal; in which context the student would like to use Italian, and so on.
