Design Initiation is a class designed for children, adolescents, and seniors alike. Through engaging and unconventional learning methods, apprentices will acquire the foundational knowledge of the design process, which will serve as a cornerstone for their future creative expressions. Recognizing the significance of graphic design across fields such as fashion, interior architecture, industrial and furniture design, and more. Tailoring the approach to each apprentice’s potential and interests, we will incorporate drawing, illustration, typography, and photography, as well as explore the use of popular social media platforms. Additionally, lessons will cover strategies for standing out among other designers, the creation of mood boards, design best practices, and techniques to make designs appealing and visible to a broad audience. For those with a particular interest in calligraphy techniques, specialized courses will be available. And much more awaits future designers!

Good day! I am an artist and teacher with over 12 years of experience. I teach academic drawing and painting and the basics of composition for any level of training. In drawing I emphasize constructive drawing, the development of plasticity, and knowledge of anatomy and perspective. We will learn different materials from pencil and charcoal to oil. In the summer we will practice working with landscape in the open air. If you are interested in contemporary art, we will study modern techniques, working with modern materials, and the theory and philosophy of contemporary art.
