I teach oil painting in Geneva in a spirit of discovery and sharing and in the warm atmosphere of my workshop in Carouge.

For beginners, we approach the discovery of oil painting by mastering the material (support linen, paint tubes, painting knife, medium to paint) and mastery of colors.

I guide step by step my students in the realization of a still life, which is the best exercise to tame the oil painting, learn to handle brushes and brushes, manage the doses of paint on the canvas, mix and apply the colors.

We then work on topics of your choice such as landscapes and seascapes. The goal is to learn how to work with backgrounds and color gradients, paint skies, the sea and clouds, learn to master the light and represent the shadows.
