I offer personalized ukulele lessons for adults and children of all levels, from complete beginners to more advanced students wishing to improve technique, rhythm and musical expression. As a professional musician, composer and teacher with more than 20 years of teaching experience, including in Switzerland, help students develop both strong musical foundations and genuine enjoyment in playing music. Having grown up in the UK (from three months to five and a half years) and speaking English daily, I am able to teach both correct and authentic English to adults and children alike. As a graduate of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Geneva, which has particularly high standards for fluency, I am also qualified to teach French, including grammar, conjugation, and vocabulary, to students up to the secondary level (Gymnasium) and to adults learning French as a foreign language (FLE). Good morning! / Hey! I'm here to tell you that if you're looking for an English teacher, I'm best for the job. I'm American, from New York (Manhattan), but my family has been in Geneva for a while. Over the past seven years, I have graduated from Collège du Léman, and also studied at Harvard, and Pace University. I have a lot of experience teaching children, having coached basketball for children ages 8 to 14 for four years. Very adaptable, I can work according to the schedule that suits you best.

The Yoga session will be Holistic in nature. Based on your health and strengths, we will start the session synchronising with breathwork and awareness. We will also work with visualization of Light as we move through postures, to heighten awareness. Pranayam or breathing techniques suitable for you, based on the day will be practised, which helps in calming of nerves. Finally we end the session with meditation and Shavasana(Lying down posture) to reap the benefits of the session. . Postures may be done using props or on chair if necessary based on individuals needs.

I have tutored three students in the past before for the SAT, improving each of their scores by 50, 100, and 110 respectively in the space of 8-10 hours of tuitions. I achieve a 1580/1600 in my own SAT, and 800/800 for both SAT Math II and Physics subject tests. My teaching techniques will be based on how I studied for the exam myself, but can be tailored to each student's own specific needs and difficulties. I am now studying mathematics and economics and the London School of Economics, so my maths level is quite high. I got a 7/7 in higher level math last year in my IB exams so I am quite familiar with how to teach that and have familiarised myself with the new curriculum. I can also teach economics.
