🎸 Did you know that guitar students can work towards internationally recognised music qualifications? I prepare children and adults for ABRSM exams (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) - a recognised system of music exams used around the world, with grades taking students step by step from beginner to advanced level. The qualification gives students a recognised record of their musical achievement. The higher grades can also be useful when applying for further music studies and, in the UK, some university applications. But for me, the best thing about preparing for an exam isn't the certificate. It's having something real to work towards. You learn pieces, develop your technique, see your progress and have the satisfaction of reaching the next level. My students have consistently achieved excellent ABRSM guitar results, with 95–100% pass rates. I'm a professional guitarist with over 20 years of performing experience, a Master's degree in Jazz Performance & Production, and many years of teaching experience. I have a few places available for the new academic year, for both children and adults. If you'd like to know how ABRSM works and whether it could be right for you or your child, just send me a message.

I’m eager to help! Whatever your level may be, I’m here to enhance your skills! I use videos, books, music, and many other sources in order to engage you as effectively as possible! It is possible to take a break during the class for 10 minutes if the student wishes.

I have tutored three students in the past before for the SAT, improving each of their scores by 50, 100, and 110 respectively in the space of 8-10 hours of tuitions. I achieve a 1580/1600 in my own SAT, and 800/800 for both SAT Math II and Physics subject tests. My teaching techniques will be based on how I studied for the exam myself, but can be tailored to each student's own specific needs and difficulties. I am now studying mathematics and economics and the London School of Economics, so my maths level is quite high. I got a 7/7 in higher level math last year in my IB exams so I am quite familiar with how to teach that and have familiarised myself with the new curriculum. I can also teach economics.

I support your children in their distance learning during this Coronavirus period. Holder of university degrees, I speak and write five languages fluently (French, Spanish, Deutsch, English, Nederlands). Possibility of lessons / tutoring at home or by Skype / WEB / FaceTime, etc.

After obtaining my Master's degree in International Law in London, I returned to my home region and am currently an intern at a legal research NGO in Geneva. After living in England for 5 years and pursuing higher education in English, I speak the language fluently. Also, having lived in Spain and due to my Uruguayan and Spanish origins, I have a perfect command of Spanish. I approach language learning in a flexible and relaxed manner. However, I place great importance on acquiring solid grammar and spelling foundations. I can teach young and old alike and am attentive to my students' specific requests.
