I am a qualified Italian teacher with many years of experience in teaching foreign languages. I speak 4 languages and I do love my job.
This course provides a grounding in the basic structures of Italian language and grammar which will enable students to communicate in essential day-to-day situations in Italy.
Though the emphasis is on speaking you will also learn grammatical structures and sentence patterns, which will form the basis for further progression in Italian.

About Me

I am a MFL teacher and I speak 4 languages (Italian, English, French and Russian) I am a very creative teacher and I like to engage my students in funny activies. I do believe that if you are having fun, you learn a lot!

Having learnt 4 languages myself, I know the difficulties that students run into. My aim is to make the learning process easier and enjoyable.

The teaching method of a language is supposed to change according to each student. The reason why you decided to learn italian will help me to create a suitable programme for you. In any case, practise is the most important aspect, that's why during my lesson, after an explanation of the grammatical rules, we will focus on the usage of the language itself by listening, speaking, reading and conversation exercises.
After few lessons you'll be able to express yourself and every lesson will be a concrete improvement of all your language skills.

Knowing a language nowadays has become extremely important. Our need to communicate and relate with the world has increased and so, in order to be able to feel confident with it, we need the right tools and methods.
Have you ever been keen on one particular language and willing to learn it? Are you a student struggling to understand your teacher tasks and to get a good grade? Would you like to get better at English as a second language (speaking, writing, reading and listening)?

This is a class for intermediate Italian speakers looking to improve their spoken Italian and grammar. My focus is both on conversational fluency and grammar points, explaining why the grammar is the way that it is. My goal is for these lessons to be fun and entertaining, and we will decide together the topic of conversation for that lesson so that is something that interests you and that you want to talk about!
