Hey ☺️ my name is Veronika (21). I am a student at the Kunstuniversität in Graz.
I offer cello lessons for beginners who would like to discover this beautiful instrument and for experienced player who would like to get more tips and knowledge!
Lessons can be held in English, Ukrainian, Russian, German or Slovak.

I am a cellist, composer and pianist from Chicago currently residing in Graz, Austria! I received my Bachelors in Cello and Composition in the USA from Indiana University and am currently pursuing my masters in Cello Konzertfach at Kunst Universität Graz. I have years of experience working as a private cello, piano and composition teacher. I am used teaching all levels, and have certification to teach string students as young as six years old from Indiana University's String Academy Program. In addition to teaching instrumental and composition lessons privately, I also have experience teaching music theory and aural skills as a graduate teaching assistant.

I adjust my teaching based on what you or your child would like to learn. From helping you learn to play a Bach cello suite, to Bohemian Rhapsody on piano, or get feedback and mentorship on your own compositions, I would be happy to play a part in your musical journey! :)

For beginners (in every age group) to show the beauties of playing the cello, for advanced players - tips and tricks, equally useful practice methods, preparation for auditions, and for problems - finding common solutions.

In my teaching, I base my teaching on the method that seems most suitable for each student. I accept students of all ages. For cello, I base my teaching on the Suzuki method for beginners (mainly children) and then adapt the pieces according to the aspect I want to improve in the student and their preferences. I will place a strong emphasis on listening and the relationship with the cello.
