I am offering personal Pilates classes either at your home, outdoors, via webcam and if possible at my own home. In 2016 I have acquired my Level 3 Mat Pilates teacher's diploma in London and have been working internationally with groups and individual clients ever since. Besides that I am a BSc Sports & Exercise Science (University of Essex) and MSc Sport Sciences (University of Groningen) graduate. Having an understanding of various populations' needs I provide safe, effective and fun classes based on every individual's needs. The main areas that we work with during Pilates practice are: - developing body awareness - strengthening deep core and postural muscles - mobility in our spine and other joints - flexibility - balance and coordination - precision and quality while performing the exercises - stamina - mindfulness and relaxation ...and as a result of the above we improve our posture, lessen the risk of injury, get rid of pain and stiffness, clear our mind and become more relaxed.

I would like to customize the teaching methods based on the request and need of students ( we can talk about it beforehand). If you want to have offline courses, we can meet somewhere and start learning. For example, we can grab a coffee in a cafe, and learn 'how to order coffee', 'what do people usually do in cafe', 'what topic people usually talk about in that situation', etc in Chinese. More fun, and more practical! If you want to have online courses, no worry, it can also be the same! I am a very outgoing and easy-to-talk person who is patient and good at helping people. I am a French native speaker living in Groningen and love sharing my French culture with different nationalities. The purpose of this class is to immerse yourself in a French environment without living in the country itself. Therefore, I am adapting and offering different approaches to learn the language via (French) movies, reading the classics and most famous French writers/intellectuals (i.e. Sartre, Victor Hugo, Camus) and practicing standard grammar exercises to obtain good basic of the language. Of course, those different activities will adapt to your language level.
