I am a Slovenian professional flutist based in Hannover, currently completing my Master's Degree in Music Arts. My musical journey has been deeply shaped by both performance and pedagogy.
I found my passion in teaching over three years ago while working at a Waldorf School in Slovenia. Since then, I’ve found joy in guiding students of all ages—sharing not just technical knowledge, but also creativity and emotional depth that music brings.
As a performer, I’ve won several awards in Slovenian national competitions, and I have many experience playing in chamber ensembles and orchestras. I perform regularly with the Flute Quartet Inuaria, and have collaborated in various chamber groups, including wind and string trios. I have also experineces playing in professional orchestra, like the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra.
Whether I’m performing or teaching, my mission is always the same: to express, to connect, and to inspire through music.

About Me
I'm Katarina, a professional flutist from Slovenia. As a flute teacher, I strive to create an inspiring and supportive learning environment where students can grow both musically and personally. Teaching allows me to share my love for the classical music and help others discover the joy, expression, and discipline that music brings.

I also worked with a lot of great flutists, such as Mario Caroli, Matthieu Gauci-Ancelin, Silvia Careddu, Jacques Zoon, Anna Dina Björn-Larsen, Johanna Dömötör, Karl-Heinz Schütz, Rachel Brown, Kersten McCall, Marina Novak, Raphael Leone, Sophie Dufeutrelle Eva-Nina Kozmus, Martin Belič and Aleš Kacjan.

I have three years of experience teaching flute at the Waldorf Music School in Ljubljana.
Occasionally I'm performing as a substitute flutist at Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra.
