About Me

I currently teach and assess in Accounting and Financial Management, in which I am highly skilled and experienced at all levels, from beginners, Foundation, HND, Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Professional.

I love my subject and constantly encourage learners to engage and gain new skills, building each time on their knowledge, on a progressive basis. I show enthusiasm and use imagination to motivate learners to participate well in class and to promote their learning outside the classes, by communicating very clearly in English, both verbally and in writing in simple, straightforward terms that can be understood easily.

I am a well-qualified, experienced teacher and worked previously for 15 years in industry in Accounts; Consultancy. I have since taught adult learners for over 25 years now and this combination gives me the ability to deliver a consistent, relevant and high-quality experience in class/virtual/tutorial to support learners using VLE (Blackboard & Moodle). I graduated from EPFL with a degree in mathematics, having completed all the Bachelor's level courses in this discipline.
