This Mandarin Chinese class is designed for both adults and students who want practical, personalised support.

For travel, lessons can be tailored to the city or province you plan to visit. You can learn useful Mandarin for real travel situations, such as introducing yourself, ordering food, asking for directions, using public transport, shopping, booking hotels, and understanding local culture and everyday manners. The goal is to help you feel more confident when travelling in Chinese-speaking places.

For school support, I can help students improve Chinese speaking, writing, reading, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, homework, and exam preparation. I can also support students who are preparing for Chinese language certificates or assessments, such as HSK, YCT, or school-based Chinese exams.

Lessons are adjusted to your level and goals, whether you are learning Mandarin for travel, daily communication, school improvement, or certificate preparation.

About Me

I am a Chinese-born native Mandarin speaker and a fluent English speaker.

My teaching is personalised and structured. I design lesson plans based on each student’s goals, level, learning speed, and practical needs. Instead of using one fixed teaching style for everyone, I adjust the class content for different learners, such as beginners, school students, adult learners, travel learners, and students preparing for Chinese assessments.

For travel learners, I can create lessons based on the specific city or province you plan to visit. The lessons can include useful vocabulary, daily conversations, transport, food, shopping, local culture, and basic manners, so you can feel more confident when travelling in Chinese-speaking places.

For school support, I can help students with speaking, writing, reading, pronunciation, grammar, homework, exam preparation, and Chinese language certificate preparation.

After each lesson, I can provide short practice exercises. We will review and explain them together in the next class, so students can understand their mistakes and improve step by step.
