About Me
Born in Connecticut, I started studying violin at 6 years old and immediately fell in love with music! Growing up, I would often perform recitals in New York and compete at various international music competitions. After high school, I moved to Houston to study at Rice University's Shepherd School of Music. During the summers, I was selected to study and perform at the Aspen Music Festival and School as a fellowship recipient. I also was chosen to perform at Carnegie Hall as a member of the New York String Orchestra.
After obtaining my Bachelors degree in Violin Performance, I then moved to NYC to attend New York University. While completing my Masters degree, I also taught violin lessons as an adjunct faculty member at NYU. I frequently performed with orchestras across New York, such as the New York Pops and the Orchestra of St. Lukes. After completing my degree, I was then asked to tour the country with the critically acclaimed Broadway production Miss Saigon! Following the tour, I decided to become a true Texan and move back to Houston to start my own private violin studio. I can't wait to teach lessons in this wonderful city I'm proud to call home!
