Hi, my name is Alessia and i am a classical and contemporary dance teacher. I have been teaching for more than ten years, specializing in teaching children ranging from 4 to 10 and from 11 to 18. I follow the Vaganova Method for ballet.
My training begins first as a student at the age of 6 years, becoming a dancer, and then 10 years ago i started teaching.
I am able to set up an educational program for both disciplines: propaedeutic and academic ballet.
I have ten years of work experience, and I have founded and led my own dance school for the past 3 years, managing 3 teachers. In addition to that I promptly enrich by attending myself advanced courses and seminars, aimed at improving correct teaching, and at technical, physical and mental well-being.
I am able to motivate, organize schedules, programs and performances. As I have done several times during the years.

About Me
Hi, I'm Alessia and I am 30 years old, I was born in Italy, where I have been immersed in the world of dance since I was 7 years old. I have started studying Classical dance and Modern dance since the early stage.
As I grew up my experience, my attention shifted to contemporary dance, inspired by the great choreographer Pina Bausch.
My studies in Pedagogy and Psychology, combined with the continuous study of classical dance, led me to orient myself to teaching, starting my training as internships at my home school dance.
By focusing on the study of the basis of propaedeutic dance addressed to children, I was able to increase and improve my knowledge and began to train in various institutions throughout Italy with the delivery of oral, written and practical exams.
In addition to continuously taking courses to learn new skills as a teacher, and attending internships in which I regularly participate, I am enrolled in the faculty of physical science.

2005-2008: Collaboration as a dancer at the laboratory / theater group "The Dreamers"
2006: I participate as a dancer with the theater group "The Dreamers" at the "National and European Children's Theater Festival"
2007: I participate as a dancer with the theater group "The Dreamers" at the "National Review of the School Theater" in Serra San Quirico
2007-2008: Completed acting and theater dance course.
2008: participation as dancer in the National and European Children's Theater Festival in Marano sul panaro and other Theatre festivals
2009-2015: I am an auditor / trainee at the dance school, continuing to study classical, contemporary and modern dance and I begin to approach teaching for the little ones, studying teaching along with experienced teachers
2011: Internship Contemporary Dance as dancer with the teacher Giusi Di Giugno
2015: I begin to deepen the teaching of teaching with various additional courses for teachers in various parts of Italy.
2017: start of my personal dance workshop, to raise awareness and knowledge of dance for less fortunate children.
2015 to date: I privately train as dancer for the improvement of classical dance teaching of the Vaganova method with a personal teacher.
2015 to mid 2020: I founded the association La Creatività ASD with a branch office with the aim of spreading that "Dance belongs to everyone", teaching to more than 300 students during this period
2017:Completed Intensive course for methodology of modern dance and its origins, with Fabrizio Laurentaci and other teachers, Cid accredited (Conseil International de la Danse).
2017: Participation to the choreographic composition course organized by maestro Fabrizio Laurentaci in Rome, supported by the CiD (Conseil International de la Danse).
2017: Become a member of the CiD (Conseil International de la Danse).
2017 to date: Teach at the association I founded and one to one teaching
2017: Attendance of the course for teachers in Rome of contemporary dance on teaching and study and deepening of the Release method.
2018: Participation in the Palermo in Danza stage with maestro Paolo Mohovich
2018: Participation as a dancer at the Palermo Gala In dance in the choreography of Maestro Paolo Mohovich at the Massimo theater in Palermo.
2018: Participation to the courses organized by the teacher Annalisa Cirillo Roma for the training of teachers, medicine applied to dance, errata.
2018/2019: Participation to the course for teachers in Milan with the IDA Organization of Ravenna.
2019: Participation to the stage of the Conformazioni festival at the Cantieri Culturali in Palermo, with the masters, Alessandra Fazzino, Daniele Ninarello, Davide Valrosso and Karine Ponties
2019: Participation in Fernando Suels Mendoza's internship of contemporary dance and took part of his choreography.
2019/2020: Attendance at the A.I.D.A. Milan on the teaching of classical dance.
