I work as a PE teacher and Spanish teacher in a secondary school in London. I have been teaching Spanish five years to students from Year 7 to Year 11 GCSE.
I will guide you through the content and help you out to achieve your maximum level.

I try to make my lessons easy and enjoyable (I think that is the best way of learning), we will learn Spanish playing games, speaking, listening to songs, etc.

For those who are learning Spanish and pick it for GCSE, I use to use AQA for revision.

Hi guys!

I’m Mario. I’m from Santander, the most beautiful city in the world (at least for me). I’ve been living in the UK, London, for the past 5 years.

Since I came I’ve been teaching. I started as a PE teacher and then I had the opportunity to also teach my language. It’s such a privilege to me teach Spanish. I think languages are the way to open to other cultures.

I will guide through my language and culture and learn it while actually learning how to speak and be able to become a new Spanish speaker!

Nowadays, languages have become an important thing in the society and an added value in the work field. In my classes, I'll try to teach them the basics of each language by focusing on grammar ( english tenses , prepositions of time and place.... )and vocabulary. As a graduate teacher, I propose an individualized teaching methodology, in which through practical and creative activities the student will easily learn the Spanish language. I will send home exercises after each class, to reinforce and consolidate what I learned in class.
These classes that I offer, are for people who want to learn the Spanish language, will learn both grammar, listening, speaking and writing through various activities. If you do not have a level, or know very little about Spanish, do not worry, do not be ashamed, you will learn very quickly.

I have been teaching Spanish to GCSE and A-Level students and adults since graduating from the University of Cambridge in 2012 with a degree (BA and MA [Hons]) in Modern Languages. Spanish is the 4th most spoken language in the world, and being able to speak another language is becoming more and more desirable. As an A* Spanish student myself, I understand how difficult it can be to grasp a language in a classroom of 30 students. During my hour of tuition I will go through conjugating tenses in depth, speaking and writing skills.

Furthermore English literature is also my strong suite as an A* English student. I specialise specifically in GCSE English literature (Edexcel exam board) but will happily tutor for any other exam board. In English tutoring sessions I will go through key themes of plays/novels in depth and set essays once the student feels more confident. Before then, I will go through sample essays to discuss what went well and what could be improved.

As a qualified teacher, I can say that having a language and getting a good mark in the GCSE for Spanish is easily achievable with a little bit of work and an open mind.

My lessons are very flexible, focused on active learning. You only learn if you do, if you make mistakes.
I do not like to talk hours not stop about grammar, or how Spanish derived from Latin... That is boring and useless, what I like is hearing you, and speaking with you.

I have experience both working with adult and young adults.
I work with the International House in London, as part of my certification as Spanish teacher for adults, teaching online a group of 10 to 15 adults online.
