I am professional musician and experienced teacher. I graduated from Spain and from Brussels Royal Conservatory with a Master in Flute. Lessons are offered to people who are interested to play the flute and to improve theirs musical skills in every level, beginners or advanced, young or adults. I can teach in English, Spanish and French.
After some years living in Brussels, and thanks to my varied group of students, we learn every week how to progress having fun. Three concerts per year where we can feel our progress and plan the next steps. It doesn't mutter the age or the level,

Graduated in France for a classical training, I offer courses of flutes (from piccolo to octobasse via bass and viola!).
The content of the courses will be adapted to the needs of each one. I practice improvisation for quite a few years, the Brazilian music (choro) is one of my specialties. I also play in the French Flutes Orchestra, and I share with pleasure my practices and sound research such as multiphonic, flute and voice, circular breathing, whistle tones and other flatterzung! Music theory will be taught naturally if necessary.

My name is Matteo and I am an Italian flutist and musicologist, based in Brussels since 2010. I graduated in modern flute at 'B. Marcello' Conservatory in Venice and at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels with Barthold Kuijken and Frank Theuns in the Baroque flute. I hold a master degree in Philosophy and Musicology as well.

I hold a PhD degree in music performance at Cardiff University, School of Music.

From 2013 till 2015, I have been teaching at the Venice Conservatory "B. Marcello", giving yearly lectures and seminaries on the historical repertoire for the flute. Since 2021, I have been appointed music curator of Coudenberg Sound Box Fest, a music festival which aims at celebrating the Belgian music heritage and takes place every year at the beautiful archeological site of the former Royal Palace of Brussels.

I recorded for Warner Classics & Erato, and a soloist for Arcana/Outhere Music ('La solitude à deux. Solos and duets by G. P. Telemann' in 2018 and 'Affect is no Crime. New music for old instruments' in 2019).

I regularly play with leading ensembles and orchestras such as Millennium Orchestra (Leonardo Garcia Alarcon), Vox Luminis (Lionel Meunier), Les Muffatti (Peter van Heyghen), Coro & Orchestra Ghislieri (Giulio Prandi), Le Concert d'Anvers (Bart van Reyn), B.O.X. (Pieter Theuns), Silete Venti (Simone Toni), Transports publics (Thomas Baeté), Oficina Musicum (Riccardo Favero), and performs on the main stages and festivals such as: Festival Oude Muziek in Utrecht, De Singel in Antwerp, Bozar in Brussels, Festival de Sablé, Festival des Abbeyes en Lorraine Ravenna Festival, Grandezze e Meraviglie in Modena, Venetian Centre for Baroque Music in Venice, Spazio & Musica at Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, Festival Accademia Bizantina, Coudenberg in Brussels, Teatro dell'Arte di Milan, Teatro Della Pergola in Florence, Ars in Cathedrali in Brussels, Musée Jacquemart-André in Paris, and many others.

I was principal flute at the National Philharmonic Orchestra in Warsaw (Poland) and have over 45 years of experience teaching repertoire, solo, chamber music and orchestra. Over the years I have developed my method of Conscious Flute Playing, which has allowed me and my students to make the flute sing as we wish. Thanks to this we can learn music theory passively as we go through the pieces.

There is also the opportunity to participate in student concerts in Brussels twice a year (December and June).

Intensive courses before entering the conservatory, competitions etc. also available on request!

My Name is Adéla and I am offering a private flute, recorder or saxophone lessons to everybody who desire to play most beautifully as it is possible because it is my target too. I am experienced teacher, I have been teaching for more than 5 years and I had more than 50 students. My aim is not only to teach how to play these instruments correctly without mistakes but I am trying to do it healthily with love and have a fun during the lessons. Because when my students are enjoying my lessons I am enjoying the teaching and then we can have a wonderful time together.

The shinobue is a flute that is used in street music but also in more sophisticated artistic performances. Japanese music has developed its own conception of beauty. Learning this music is a way to enter Japanese culture!

Traditionally, Japanese music is learned orally through shoga (a song using onomatopoeia). During the course, you also experience this method and will learn several types of music.

I found Nozomi Kanda's page and videos. I was pleasantly surprised that she played Western classical music, contemporary music and also Japanese music. I started the shinobue class 9 months ago. After several lessons, I mastered the basic techniques under Nozomi's patient teaching. I started playing several scores with the other students. Together we participated in an end of year show. I am very happy to have the opportunity to share the delicate sound of shinobue with others. I am a professional flutist with over 5 years of experience in teaching. I have worked with people aged 5 to 75 and taught in five different languages: English, German, Ukrainian, Polish, and French. I hold a pedagogical qualification from the Academy of Music in Krakow, where I obtained a Master's degree with distinction in flute performance.
