Hello,

I am currently teaching Korean online.

I had some experience in France and Belgium as a ten year student. I will have the pleasure to teach you Korean, my mother tongue. I did Korean Teaching Training at Korea University and got Korean Teaching Certificate this year. I would be really happy to be able to teach you.

I only give online lessons and I adapt to all levels and your needs.

Please don't hesitate to contact me, if you have any questions!

Hello dear students!
My name is Ran. I was born and raised in Korea and lived in China, France.
I'm currently living in Brussels, Belgium.
I speak Korean, English, French and a little Chinese.
I also worked as professional tour guide in France and now I'm taking a tour guide course to become a licensed tour guide in Belgium. So I'm passionate about culture, art and history etc.

<My strong point>
1. To be fluent in a foreign language requires to understand not only the language itself but also the culture and history. So you are at the right address! Since I worked as tour guide, I can introduce you very unique and full of interesting Korean traditions in a fun way !

2. I'm quite good at cooking too. So you can learn Korean while cooking Korean dishes with me in my place. We will enjoy tasty and fun time together ! (You can book my cooking class on apprentus)

3. When you learn Korean, you will realize that there are many Korean words of Chinese origin, we call those words ''Hanja''. In fact, about 60 percent of Korean words are of Chinese origin. You can learn these words easily and efficiently with me as I'm learning Chinese as well.

Each lesson will be customized based on your need.
To me, learning a language should be fun and I'm very enthusiastic on teaching.
My lessons are structured in a way that is fun and enjoyable. You will learn practical stuff that you need for everyday life with me. I will employ various multimedia and pictures too. With my lessons, you'll realize that you're getting closer to Korean language.

I can help students of all ages, from children to adults for all levels. And I give both online and face-to-face class.
Please feel free to let me know what your focus is or what you would like to improve. If you have any questions about my lesson, you can send me message anytime. I'll respond you as soon as possible.

I hope to see you in class soon.
Thank you for reading my profile.

I do not rely on books to teach the language. My goal is to make you talk in order to master the intonations, accents and pronunciation of this new language. I will teach you, of course, the written bases as well as the reading of this one.

My courses will be based on Korean books, vocabulary sheets that I would select myself with the main thing to remember to talk to and live in Korea, if you ever want to go.

Classes will include pronunciation, grammar, reading and listening sessions (mp3). In short, all it takes to assimilate a language.

In terms of my language experience, I studied Korean for three semesters (more than nine months) at Ewha Womens University. I have completed level three, so I could easily help you start in this language and guide you to level two.
Do not hesitate to contact me for more information.

Korean is being a trend.
I can teach Korean to all ages.
I can teach in certain fields such as writing, speaking, reading, etc. /or overall.
Not only the language, but also the culture and history could be taught.
This class can be taught in Spanish as well.

Want to learn Korean without the boring textbooks?
Join us and discover how fun and easy it can be!
Whether you're a K-pop fan, a K-drama lover, or just curious about the language, we’ve got exciting lessons, games, and cultural tips waiting for you.

Learn Korean the way it’s really spoken, and discover the culture behind every word. 🇰🇷

📚 How my lessons work
Each lesson follows a clear textbook structure, so you always know where you are and what comes next. We work on speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary, at your own pace. Complete beginners start with Hangul, the Korean alphabet, which you can learn to read within a few lessons.

🎵 Learning with K-pop
I create my own worksheets based on K-pop songs, with vocabulary, grammar points, example sentences and exercises. It’s a fun way to learn real, everyday Korean and to finally understand what your favourite songs are saying.

💼 Korean for work and exams
I’ve worked in Korean public institutions and in diplomatic and cultural settings, so I know the Korean that’s actually used at work: formal speech and honorifics, emails, meetings, presentations and networking. If you need Korean for your job, we’ll focus on the situations you’ll really face.

I also help students prepare for TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean), with practice tests, exam strategies and targeted grammar and vocabulary.

📱 Support between lessons
After each lesson, you get a short recap, plus homework and quizzes on WhatsApp to keep practising during the week. For younger students, parents receive a summary in English so they can follow their child’s progress.

🎬 Monthly culture session (optional)
Once a month, we take Korean out of the classroom. We might watch a Korean film, see a performance, visit an exhibition, cook Korean food together or go to a Korean market. We learn the vocabulary beforehand, use it for real during the activity and review it afterwards. Tickets and ingredients are not included.
