Learn to draw by observing the world around you. In these classes we will explore drawing from life: people, places and everyday scenes. We can work from real objects, photographs, or illustrations. If you're interested in manga, ink drawing, or ukiyo-e (traditional Japanese woodblock prints), we can also explore that style. If you have something you'd like to draw, you can bring it to class. If not, we will use reference materials that I have prepared. No prior experience is necessary. Beginners are welcome.
