I'm Marla, and I'm thrilled to welcome you to my online flute class. With a background as a graduate student from the esteemed Higher Institute of Music in Damascus, Syria, I've dedicated over 8 years of my life to teaching and honing the art of flute playing.

Serving as the Principal Flute Assistant in the National Syrian Orchestra was a significant milestone in my career. It provided me with the opportunity to perform with some of the finest musicians in the country and be part of orchestral productions that showcased the rich musical heritage of Syria.
Principal Flutist in Mari's Orchestra - The First Women Orchestra in the Middle East:
One of the most groundbreaking experiences in my career was being appointed as the Principal Flutist in Mari's Orchestra, the first women's orchestra in the Middle East.. Playing a pivotal role in Mari's Orchestra was an empowering experience, and it allowed me to be a part of a movement that championed gender equality in music.
Guest Performances with Various Orchestras:
Throughout my career, I had the privilege of performing as a guest flutist with several other orchestras. These collaborations allowed me to explore a diverse range of musical styles and genres, from classical compositions to contemporary and experimental pieces.
