About Me
I am Néstor, a Spanish teacher with a broad academic and artistic background. I studied Social Anthropology at the National School of Anthropology and History in Mexico and Classical Guitar at the National Conservatory of Music. Since the late 1990s, I have combined my passion for education, culture, and music in various roles.

In Belgium, I have built an extensive career as a Spanish teacher in both secondary and adult education (CVOs, athenea, municipal lyceums, and private schools). I have taught at KA Merksem, Lyceum Waterbaan (Antwerp), CVO Pro Aalst, and Sint-Jozefinstituut, among others. My teaching approach is communicative and cultural: I strive to ensure that language learning is always connected to the rich diversity of the Spanish-speaking world.

I also continue to pursue professional development in the didactics of Spanish as a foreign language (ELE), including training at UNED (Spain), KU Leuven, Ghent University, and the University of Antwerp. My main interests lie in innovative teaching methods, digital tools, and the creative integration of music and culture into language education.

As an anthropologist and musician, I have also worked as a museum guide (MAS, Vleeshuis, Antwerp) and as an organizer of cultural projects centered on Mexican and Latin American traditions. My broad knowledge of languages (Spanish, Dutch, English, French, Portuguese, Italian, German, and Nahuatl) and my international background make me a versatile teacher and a builder of bridges.
