🍡 JLPT exam preparation
Prepare effectively for the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test), a recognized exam that validates your level of Japanese. Whether it's to boost your chances for studies, a job or simply to challenge yourself, my courses will guide you with targeted exercises and strategies adapted to your level.

In the first lesson, we will discuss in Japanese/French/English to assess your level of Japanese, your expectations for the Japanese course, as well as the books we will use.

Each one-hour lesson takes place online or at my home in Prilly.
Organize your classes at your own pace: once a week, every two weeks, or even in intensive sessions lasting several hours!

Having learned Japanese myself before living in Japan for 12 years, I am very familiar with the difficulties this language can present for a French or English speaker. My goal is not only to give you the correct answer, but to help you understand how the language works so that you can gradually use it independently.

A lesson can combine conversation, grammar, comprehension, reading, writing, and vocabulary according to your needs. I pay particular attention to practical application: what we learn must be applicable to real-life situations. Materials and exercises are chosen or adapted based on your level and objectives.

Kanji hold a special place in my teaching. As a Kanken 2 (日本漢字能力検定2級) holder, I enjoy teaching methods that allow you to understand their structure, readings, and relationships rather than simply memorizing lists. If kanji intimidate you, my goal is precisely to help you become familiar with them and, perhaps, even appreciate them!

My courses are aimed at teenagers and adults, from beginner to advanced levels. I can also assist people preparing for the JLPT or who wish to learn Japanese for travel, studies, a professional project, or simply out of passion for the Japanese language and culture.
