I offer private cello lessons ranging in all ages and from beginner to advance levels. I can travel to your house or offer lessons online. I am fluent in both English and French.

During the 2022-23 season I am the cello praktikant for the Bern Symphony Orchestra, as well as a current Masters of Orchestra student at l'HEMU with Prof. Xavier Phillips. I have previously completed my Bachelor of Music at the Cleveland Institute of Music 18' under the studio of Dr. Melissa Kraut, where I also became Suzuki certified for pre-twinkle to Book 2. I have also been a student of Hans Jorgen Jensen at Northwestern University, Wei Yu, Andres Diaz and John Kadz. Over the last ten years I have gained teaching along with performance experience in Toronto, Calgary, Cleveland and Chicago, working with some of the top teachers and pedagogues in North America.

Along with performing across Canada and the United States, I have been invited to take part in orchestras across the world such as Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival (Germany), Pacific Music Festival (Japan), American Institute of Musical Studies (Austria) and National Repertory Orchestra (Colorado, USA).

About Me

My teaching style is unique to each individual student. At the first lesson, I will gain knowledge of any previous experience on the cello or other musical experience the student may have. After, I will prepare a list of repertoire, technique and other goals we would like to accomplish, suitable for the level of the student. For students under the age of twelve, I would like a parent present for the first initial lessons. I encourage recording or tapping lessons to refer back specific details throughout the week! I keep lesson plans, notes and goals for each student, creating structure and motivation. The music lessons will be energetic and lively, along with solidifying knowledge of the cello!

Student with a master's degree at the HEMU, in the class of François Salque, currently pursuing a master's degree in pedagogy at the HKB, alumni of the Schleswig Holstein Festival Orchestra, of the Lucerne Festival Academy Orchestra, and of the International Ensemble Modern Akademie of Frankfurt, I am passionate about teaching and experienced, working with children, young people and adult amateurs. I also have some experience of group pedagogy.
Passionate about contemporary music and improvisation, I use the latter to transmit the technical and musical bases in a fun and original way, and to allow everyone to discover their personality and their relationship to the instrument.
I always take into account the expectations and tastes of each, to help my students achieve their goals (being able to play and have fun of course, but also to play in a small ensemble, read music, develop his own hear...)

I am a professional cellist, a graduate of the Geneva University of Music in performance and music pedagogy. I currently teach in several schools in Switzerland, including EMVR and Aiglon College, and I perform regularly in concert in Switzerland and abroad.

I teach cello to children, teenagers, and adults in a supportive, motivating, and pressure-free atmosphere. Lessons are fully tailored to each student's level, goals, and pace, whether you're a complete beginner or a more advanced musician.

I also accompany many adults who are starting the cello for the first time, sometimes after the age of 40 or 50, as well as people who are returning to the instrument after a long break. No prior experience is necessary, and it is not required to be able to read music at the beginning.

I am a qualified cello teacher and experienced musician with a solid background in many fields and, despite i'm 25 yo, lots of experience! I worked in music schools, very good orchestras and i regularely have concerts, also in chamber music. Occasionally i also play in pop groups/orchestras.
