About Me

Holding a PhD in Neuroscience and a Master’s degree in Medical Biology from the University of Lausanne, I have over 15 years of experience in higher education, scientific research, biotechnology and team supervision
Passionate about sharing knowledge, I support pupils and students in their academic development through a teaching approach tailored to their individual needs and learning objectives.

Rigorous, patient, and attentive, I provide personalized support in biology, natural sciences, mathematics and physics as applied to the life sciences, as well as study skills and exam preparation. My biology courses (biochemistry, biotechnology in particular) are aimed at the following levels: high school students, bachelor's and master's. I am also ready to train adults who are passionate about biology and are trying to obtain a diploma, for example.

I adapt my method after having discussed with the student and I am very patient who has only one desire: the success of the student. I like to pass on my passion for life sciences and use several methods. I am a calm and very flexible person, willing to support students who seek to deepen their knowledge or who have certain difficulties.

CURRICULUM

Student at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), I am currently in BA5 - third year of Bachelor - at the IC (computer science) faculty.

I have been providing private lessons since 2018 in mathematics, physics, chemistry and life sciences.

Holder of a first Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences since the summer of 2021, I completed 3 months of internship in a hospital environment in the psychiatric sector and fundamental research in neuroscience, areas that fascinate me. Initially aspiring to be a psychiatrist, I was passed (admitted to the competition but the quota places granted limited my entry into medical school) after having completed a very selective and elitist national competition to enter a medical school : the first year common to health studies. I was subsequently very involved in collaborative and associative projects to train students for the medical competition, in the first year. I love teaching, making people understand and seeing this moment of light on the face of the student for whom everything becomes clearer!

I have also been giving private lessons in mathematics for 8th grade students at the Gymnasium or in preparation for their maturity for 6 years.

Many of my students have an ADHD profile, and I always enjoy adapting to the needs of each person, maintaining DYNAMICS in the course and doing interactive exercises so that the knowledge is incorporated as best as possible. .
As for cellular and molecular biology, the student asks his questions or I ask him about his course, but I do not discuss the exercises.
Conversely, in mathematics and physics, I explain the intuition behind the formulas and we solve a problem together. I show him the methodology to follow so that he becomes independent.

Dynamic, I am myself a studious and serious student. I have gone through the challenges and stress of exams and competitions many times. My goal is to give you confidence and provide you with the appropriate method to succeed in your course.
