こんにちは!Hi everyone, I'm Fumika, a native Japanese speaker offering friendly and personalised Japanese lessons. 😊

I believe learning Japanese should be enjoyable, practical and suited to YOU.

Rather than following exactly the same lesson for every student, I adapt my lessons depending on your level, interests and goals.

We can focus on:

📚 Grammar and vocabulary
✈️ Japanese for travelling
🎌 Japanese culture, customs and etiquette

For students who already know some Japanese, I especially enjoy helping them move from "I understand Japanese" to **"I can actually speak Japanese!"**

🌱 My teaching approach

I want my students to feel comfortable making mistakes. You don't need to worry about speaking perfectly—I will gently correct you, explain why, and help you find more natural ways to express yourself.

As a native Japanese speaker who also communicates in English, I can explain not only *what* Japanese people say, but also the cultural context and why certain expressions sound more natural than others.

Lessons can be relaxed and conversational while still having clear learning goals.
