About Me
My name is Mar, and I am a qualified Spanish native speaker teacher, currently living in the UK.
Since I was a child, I have been passionate about different languages and cultures. I have always known that my ideal job would be something related to languages and that is why I decided to get a degree in Translating and Interpreting from the University of Murcia.
Finishing my degree, I moved to Italy with the desire of learning the language, and I fell in love with the country. I started to teach Spanish, and soon I realised how rewarding and fun it is. I was helping people learning Spanish, and I was really enjoying it!
I was willing to expand my knowledge and learn more about how to teach foreign languages, so I got my Master’s degree to become a qualified teacher from the Miguel Hernández University.
I moved to the UK in the summer of 2016, and I have been teaching Spanish to different kind of students, many of them, English native speakers, not only via Skype but also face-to-face.
I love private lessons because they let me meet amazing people from all over the world and work with them to pursue their goals.
My other passion is travelling, something I try to do as much as I can. My personal goals right now are: to be more creative and to learn a new language.
