About Me

I am passionate in teaching, I have an experience of teaching in professional setting before. Having read subjects like Political Science, History, Geography and Economics in-depth as part of my master's and having taught these before, I strongly believe that I will able to teach these subjects in a much more effective way. I follow more of a story-telling method which I believe can improve our understanding and make our basics strong. I am very approaching and I encourage doubts from students as this gives more scope for learning.

International Relations is the diverse field and in today’s world it is very important to grasp the concepts and behaviours of Countries, International Institutions and Political parties because the world has become a global village and the actions of one institution or country impact the whole world and in some cases even actions of one person can spread the anarchy in the International order and vice versa actions of one political party or government or IGOs can impact the life of a common person living in a African village.

GCSE and A-level history and geography can see a little daunting, with the wide spectrum of topics and knowledge required to achieve a good grade. Having achieved top grades and studying histry and geography at university, I can support students to learn not only the content, but the specific techniques and methods for achieving their full potential.

In my opinion, Geography is one of the most important subjects to study as it gives a global perspective on current, real life matters. It also drastically improves one’s ability for impressive dinner party conversation ;)

I can break down and explain all topics of school geography in a simple, accessible way. I understand that some complex concepts can be hard to grasp in a classroom, thus I can identity where students may be falling down with their understanding and tackle those areas first.

Both Human and Physical Geography require a specific style of essay writing that took me a while to master, but going through that process has helped me to teach exam techniques in a straightforward way. I can create custom presentations for students and walk them through content they may be struggling with, or go over school work that needs elaborating.
