Learn how to deal with everyday stress and be more able to cope with the ups and downs of modern life. I am an NHS fully qualified mindfulness teacher, who has worked in secondary schools as a class teacher for over 14 years. I have seen the stresses of life increase and increase year on year and decided to retrain as a mindfulness teacher to help myself and my pupils cope better with these stresses. In this course, we will explore the roots and effects of stress, and explore a range of techniques that could benefit you in dealing with everyday stress more sustainably. I am not going to make bold statements saying every strategy is perfect for everyone and will work 100%, rather I adopt a method of exploring a wide range of strategies to see which fit best with your unique personality. These techniques are based on mindfulness practices and utilize the most modern scientific findings in the realm of positive psychology to help adapt your everyday lifestyles to boost your outlook.
