I am a Chinese woman with college degree , I have worked in international company as senior manager for 15 years , and then I moved to Belgium for 2 years .
In the last 2 years , I teach my own kids chinese lessen 4 hours per week with the chinese national school textbook , now my first kid knows round 2000 chinese charactors , she can read and write , talking is certainly as a native speaker . My second kid was 5 years old when we moved to Belgium , so she didn't learn any chinese lesson in China , so I began with her from pinyin , now she can read story books with pinyin and she learns more than 500 charactors .
From teaching my own kids chinese lessens , I collected lots of experience and I trained my patience . I have to say , if the teacher can make the lessons interesting , then with love , passion and patience , she or he can teach . Otherwise , the lesson can not help the learner but only kill the motivations .

Wai
Hi! I'm Wai Sze.
I’m from Hong Kong, and my mother tongues are Cantonese and Mandarin. I have experience teaching Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin) as a second language as well as other school subjects taught in Chinese to non-native speakers in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Belgium. I have worked with learners of all backgrounds—from complete beginners to fluent speakers of one Chinese language who want to learn another, including university students majoring in Chinese.

My Teaching Philosophy
I believe that learning a language should be engaging, immersive, and enjoyable! In my classes, you won’t just learn the language—you’ll also gain a deeper understanding of Chinese, Taiwanese, and Hong Kong culture, traditions, and customs.

How We Can Learn Together:
This course is 100% personalized to match your learning style and goals. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an advanced learner, I will create custom learning materials tailored just for you—no generic textbooks!
✔️ Speaking & Listening: Learn natural conversations for everyday use.
✔️ Reading & (Optional) Writing: You’ll be gradually introduced to Chinese characters without feeling overwhelmed.
✔️ Cultural Learning: Explore traditions, festivals, and real-life Chinese customs.

Looking for a fun and practical way to learn Chinese? Here are some unique learning experiences I offer:
- Real-life Learning: We can visit a Chinese supermarket together to learn food names, cultural insights, and even how to cook Chinese dishes!
- Speaking Practice: My lessons are highly interactive—you’ll be speaking a lot and asking plenty of questions!

✅ Students who want a fully customized learning experience.

Hi, I am an international student from China currently pursuing graduate studies in education. I speak Japanese, Chinese (mother tongue) and French.

I have studied in Japan, Hungary, Spain and Belgium and lived in China for 20 years. Since 2016, I have been working as a language teacher while studying and earning my undergraduate degree in Education in the aforementioned countries. I have taught more than 20 students so far, and the students and parents have responded very favorably to the results and the learning process, and have been motivated to learn a foreign language.
I strongly believe that education is not a painful process, it is not only about learning subjects, but also about motivation, mental health and proper values.

My relationship with my students is more like that of a friend; a superior teacher-student relationship can only lead to a negative reaction to the content. My students love my classes because they are filled with interesting and logical explanations, and I take every student's question seriously.

For younger students, I will use more interesting and vivid examples to explain abstract knowledge, for example: the letter "a" is a mouth with a snake next to it, in which case we will surely yell "ah". For adults who are able to think logically, I will choose to explain in a more logical way, e.g. if there is the character for fire on the left side of the Chinese word "烤", the left of the word which is "火" looks like a campfire,so any word with this "campfire" means something about fire or high temperature, and the right part can be used to deduce the pronunciation of the word.

My courses are available via Terminals, Skype, dingding, etc. If you are in Brussels then you are welcome to come to one of my offline courses!

The classes can be taught in Chinese, English.

Hi there! I’m your Chinese instructor—a native Mandarin speaker with a deep understanding of how non-native learners grasp Chinese. Having grown up using Mandarin in daily life, I know exactly the challenges you might face (like tones, character writing, or natural conversation flow) and have designed a step-by-step learning journey to help you progress smoothly.

In this course, we’ll cover practical, actionable content tailored to real-life use:
1, Pronunciation & Pinyin: Master accurate tones and phonetics (the foundation of understandable Chinese) with interactive drills and feedback.
2, Daily Conversations: Learn to talk about greetings, food, travel, work, and hobbies—no boring rote memorization, just phrases you can use immediately.
3, Grammar & Vocabulary: Build a solid foundation with essential grammar rules (explained simply, no jargon!) and high-frequency words, organized by themes to boost retention.
4, Reading & Writing Basics: Recognize common Chinese characters, write simple sentences, and read short texts (like menus, signs, or messages) with confidence.
5, Cultural Insights: Pick up tips on Chinese etiquette, customs, and communication styles to sound more natural and avoid misunderstandings.

My teaching style is patient, interactive, and focused on your goals—whether you want to travel, connect with friends, or advance your career. I’ll adjust the pace and content to fit your needs, and use real-life examples to make abstract concepts easy to grasp.

Let’s turn "I can’t speak Chinese" into "I can communicate confidently"—start your journey with a native speaker today!
