I have been playing Classical Guitar for 14 years. I have always practiced the greatest repertoire from Ancient Music (Dowland, Sanz, Bach), Modern and Contemporary (Paganini, Tarrega, Villa-Lobos, Brouwer) while experimenting other genres (Blues, Rock, Ragtime, Progressive, Pop) and composing music myself. My goal is to valorise an activity that is both methodical and rigorous as well as creative and entertaining as Music itself.

Learning the fundamentals of writing and composing English text can help you advance in your studies and professional career, especially if you deal with international communication, academic research, or public speaking. The principles taught here apply to any modern language. This class is designed to develop students' understanding of professional writing, academic language, essays, proposals, critical analysis, and stylistic structures. The focus is primarily on grammar, structures, arguments, audiences, purpose, context, and formatting (where necessary). In addition, you will have the chance to explore the basics of literary analysis. I live in the Netherlands and study in the USA (by distance-learning methods). I also work as a writer and editor for several American and British corporations, which helps me stay up to date with the evolution of the English language. Usually, my students are university students, but I am willing to help anyone who wants to improve their linguistic skills.

During my Diploma, I tutored my friends in my strongest subjects (Biology and Maths), the positive feedback encouraged me to continue. Since then I have been teaching intensive pre-exam classes, preparing students with a thorough revision of each topic. I believe that to learn you need to understand, which is why I always teach using useful analogies and interesting real-life examples. While extensively knowing the syllabus, I can also offer useful tips and tricks to help you ace your exams.

Hello. I am 23 years old Polish guy who just moved to Utrecht from Kyoto - yes, I know, quite a combination! I am currently pursuing MSc in Financial Management and possess two bachelor degrees - Economics and Japanese Studies - which I completed simultaneously. I lived in Japan, Kyoto for a year where I attended 上級(advanced level, N1 and above) university course. I currently possess the N1 certificate. I have also worked in a fully Japanese (Japanese capital, Japanese people, twisted Japanese business rules) company in Kyoto and am looking forward to sharing this experience with you! I am open to teach anyone, be that a student or a working person, but I believe my knowledge would be the most useful for a person who is ultimately looking to use their gained skills in a professional setting. If you wish to learn Japanese from the very beginning I am using the Genki textbook + workbook. Mastering (not only skimming through) Genki 1 and 2 with someone who can guide you along the way can get you very far in real-life conversation and - depending on the time commitment, will, and previous exposure to the language - can be done in a relatively short time. For those who have already completed those textbooks - we will discuss your needs and adjust the lessons to that. Personally, based on the previous experiences I believe I could help you the most with "opening up" to freely converse in Japanese. If you have any questions - hit me up! The lessons can be taught in Japanese, English, and Polish.

Maths and physics are usually among the hardest and most abstract subjects we encounter in school. After many years of studying them in university (Bachelor in Physics and master in climate physics at Utrecht University) I realised that anyone develops different mechanisms to understand and absorb those concepts. I think of tutoring as a way to help the students to learn how to use the tools that better work for them. During the class I will provide help both for specific assignments and general more theoretical study, full lectures about specific topics or guidance through exercises, along with schemes and summaries.
