About Me

Hi, my name is Juan Pablo and I was born and raised in Mexico. At the university I studied Communication and I have worked in the photography filed with communities and different people from all around the world.

For me, learning Spanish opened doors to new and exciting cultures. I enjoy traveling, learning about the culture, people, customs and traditions. When traveling I try to look for the hidden little restaurants and try the local cuisine to know better the culture and the locals. I like hiking; breathing in the fresh air and enjoying beautiful sceneries to take pictures and enjoy a coffee cup.

I also enjoy listen to music, photography and a shared moments with my family and friends.

I believe that using different engaging activities keep students interested, motivated and support their learning. I conduct the classes according to your interest and skill level. I will support you to meet your individual learning goals, whether they are confidence in conversation, vocabulary for a certain topic, grammar or something else.
We can use materials, such as books, exercise sheets and articles, to support your learning or videos and music to practice listening skills and to learn new vocabulary. It’s up to you, I will customize the lesson especially for you.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Communications. I have experience teaching Spanish in a traditional classroom setting and as well online. I worked in Finland and Mexico teaching Spanish to adults. I have worked as an online teacher giving individual classes.
