Piano Mondo: Unleash your writing and creativity!
From 45 £ /h
My name is Coraline Parmentier, pianist, composer, author and founder of the Piano Mondo institution for cultures, in Nyon.
I have been writing since primary school, where I began inventing my first stories and writing poems. Writing thus grew with me, long before it took a place in my artistic and professional journey.
I created Piano Mondo based on a conviction: artistic creation should not be confined to a single discipline. While music forms the historical heart of the institution, writing has always been part of my creative world and naturally nourishes my various projects.
Over the years, this practice has developed in various forms and become intertwined with my work as a composer, performer, and cultural project manager. It is in this spirit that Piano Mondo is now opening its **Writing Hub**, in order to share, in turn, the joy of creating, building, and expressing oneself through words.
As with Piano Mondo's music lessons, I favor a personalized approach: each student progresses at their own pace, according to their personality, desires, and goals. The aim is not to force everyone into the same model, but to acquire tools, gain confidence, and gradually develop an expression that reflects who you are.

About Me
Although I hold a degree in classical music (Concert and Pedagogy - Geneva University of Music), I specialize in non-European music. My intercultural projects have garnered me awards in Switzerland (Leenaards, Engelberts, Ethique et Valeurs, Baume & Mercier, AGFDU) and Canada (Public Peace Prize). My Piano Mondo concept is a direct continuation of all these endeavors: placing the individual at the heart of teaching, allowing everyone to bring their own story... and setting it to music!
We have a record label, the students release several original compositions each year, as well as film-concerts on our Youtube channel!
WRITING CENTER
I also teach writing classes at Piano Mondo. I offer support for all types of written projects (music and arts, family, school, university, etc.)...
I can provide support lessons for external piano exams as part of competitions, for exams in other music schools or for the music option of specific school curricula.
