About Me
Hello! I was born and raised in New York, and completed my undergrad at Cornell University where I majored in Economics and Near Eastern Studies. I worked as an Economics tutor during my time in Cornell and worked as a swim instructor growing up, so I have experience teaching and working with students one on one. I love to read (specifically contemporary American literature), bake (lots of sourdough, but sweets as well), and play guitar and am currently completing my MSc in Environmental Economics at the London School of Economics.
I am happy to help students with any of the following:
College Essays (Especially when applying for US Universities)
Economics
English
Introductory Guitar
Introductory Hebrew
General School Management
Please reach out with any questions!

Experience / Qualifications
Tutoring Experience: During my time at Cornell I helped students who were struggling in their intermediate Economics courses. I worked directly with students to help them with their problem sets and prepare for exams. I learned that the goal of tutoring wasn't simply to help students get the correct answers, but also to truly understand the concepts.
Teaching Experience: During the summer of my first year of university I worked as a counselor for children ages 12-17. I helped children develop new skills, overcome obstacles and make the most of their summer.
Professional Experience: Before I started my masters program I was working in NYC as a project manager where I helped manage a data product, using Excel, Powerpoint and Tableau to analyze and present data to clients.

Economics is a valuable lens through which student can learn to analyze the world around them and understand how businesses make decisions and how larger economic systems work. This class would be helpful for any students enrolled in an economics course who need extra help with their homework or understanding either the mathematical concepts or the intuition behind what they are learning.
