I will also proof read essays, providing suggestions for improvements, and feedback for future work.

Extra information

You need to provide me with the instructions you have been given for your essay. In our initial session we will discuss your essay plan, including the introduction, conclusion and how the essay should be structured. In follow up sessions, I can give feedback on your plan and the essay itself, with suggestions as to how you might consider improving it. I am the intelligent reader who should be capable of understanding the essay, even if I am not familiar with the subject matter. As such, I can be your touchstone to help guide you toward a succinctly written and clearly expressed essay.

I enjoy helping others engage with the academic world. However knowledgeable and intelligent a person might be, it can sometimes be quite difficult to express yourself in writing. Unfortunately, many qualifications are primarily assessed through essay writing. It is a skill to write a good essay - and I hope to guide you to acquire that skill so that you can demonstrate your abilities in your chosen subject.

I have a Law Degree from Oxford University, have passed law society Finals, and I have a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice. I have a level 3 qualification in counselling.
