Welcome to my beginner-friendly Web Development class!

I'm an ICT Instructor and Full-Stack Web Developer with practical experience teaching students and building real-world web applications.

In this interactive class, I will guide you step by step through the fundamentals of website development, even if you have never written a line of code before.

**What You Will Learn:**

- **HTML:** Understand how websites are structured using headings, paragraphs, images, links, forms, and other elements.
- **CSS:** Learn how to make websites beautiful using colours, fonts, spacing, layouts, and responsive design.
- **JavaScript:** Discover how to add interactivity and functionality to websites.
- **Visual Studio Code:** Learn how to install and use a professional code editor.
- **Practical Projects:** Build simple web pages and gradually develop your own website.
- **Debugging:** Learn how to identify and correct common coding mistakes.

**My Teaching Approach**

I explain technical concepts in simple English, using practical demonstrations, real-world examples, interactive exercises, and guided projects.

You will be encouraged to ask questions, practise during lessons, and develop confidence in your programming abilities.

No previous programming experience is required.

Learn to program with a practical, patient approach. I'm a working software engineer with a bachelor's degree in informatics, and I teach students who want to truly understand code, not just copy it.

Languages and technologies I can teach:
- Java, C++ and C#: fundamentals, object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms
- JavaScript and TypeScript: from the basics to modern syntax, typing and working with APIs
- HTML & CSS: building and styling real web pages
- SQL and relational databases: queries, joins and database design

What we can do together:
- Learn programming from scratch, step by step, with no prior knowledge needed
- Work through university or school assignments and prepare for exams
- Build a small project from idea to working result
- Understand concepts you are stuck on, such as recursion, pointers, OOP or async code
- Prepare for a technical interview or your first job in IT
- Learn good practices used in real-world software development: clean code, debugging, version control (Git)

Lessons are 45 minutes long and fully adapted to you. We write code together, I explain the reasoning behind each step, and you gradually take over. Beginners are very welcome, and so are students who already know the basics and want to move forward faster.

Lessons are available online, or in person in Zagreb. They can be held in English or Croatian.
