This class is all about the dogs! Ever wonder what your dog is thinking about? Do you wish they would stop jumping on you? Maybe you want them to stop stealing your sandwich when you’re eating. Well then this class is for you.

We will be breaking down what motivates dogs and how we can change it. Students will learn with use of PowerPoint and demonstration. By the end of this class you will know how to make your dog sit, shake, and lay down!

Wether a cat, dog, bird or hamster, all pets deserve to learn basic communication with their human friends. This class is solely to teach the basic tricks and obedience as well as gaining insight on your pet. We can start by teaching recall and enforcing the use of their name. This will progress to sit, down, up, wait, leave it, high five, turn around, heel, etc.

I can also provide tips to avoid unwanted situations for first time pet owners as well as some insight into the body language and how to understand your pet. We can discuss odd or bad behaviour and how to work around it as well as socialization and handling.

I am experienced with cats and dogs mainly but can offer some classes for rabbits, birds and rodents.

The class will mainly be a consultation and planning as well as guidance on how to train your pet where I will check up on progress and provide tips.

Training is a long and ongoing process therefore owners should be patient with their pets and willing to learn. Understanding your pet and feeling compassionate towards them is the first step forward.

I dont charge high rates because I believe training is a necessity for pet owners.

Struggling with training your dog simple things, such as... lead walking, crate training, hyperactive when guests arrive, etc... ? Not to worry! It can be an extremely difficult task for you and your dog to begin with. All that’s needed is your patience and determination. YOU WILL GET THERE!!

This training is obedience targeted but can offer a small amount of behavioural knowledge from past experiences. Although I would recommend a qualified behaviouralist that can meet your dog 1-1.

I only offer help and advice to help you gain knowledge of what’s needed to have your dog well trained and obedient.
