Kinder, Smarter, Happier - Emotional Intelligence and You
From 34 £ /h
Emotional intelligence can be a superpower. It can help you cut through the noise to what's really going on; help you better understand yourself and others; and can make your life calmer, less scary, and way more productive.
This class takes you through theories of emotion from psychology, philosophy, anthropology and neuroscience, and then works with you to apply them to your life.
We'll move at your pace, and all the content will be shaped to fit your experiences. You'll come out with a deep understanding of emotion and the role it plays in the world, and real tools for improving your life.

About Me
Hello! I'm a teacher, co-Director, and total psychology nerd. I'm fascinated by what makes people tick, and love creating engaging, interesting learning spaces that support people to flourish.
I've been a teacher and learning facilitator for over a decade now. I've taught philosophy, ethics, psychology, and sociology in schools; have trained mental health professionals working in the NHS; and have run workshops supporting the development of emotional intelligence for charities.
I've lived in London, Edinburgh, Bristol, Brighton, in South Korea for a couple of years, and currently reside in my wonderful van, travelling the UK and being inspired.
When I'm not nerding, I can be found surfing (badly), playing guitar (also badly), or up a mountain. I love all kinds of music (Spotify will throw me Afrobeat followed by metal followed by grime followed by pop), make a cracking omelette, and am always looking to learn something new.
