About Me

I take a relational and human approach to the work I do with students. This means engaging with questions and sharing my own personal experiences which includes my own lessons and mistakes! Since 2012 I have worked with a diverse range of clients to face and overcome a wide range of personal and professional challenges through 1-to-1 and group sessions. This has been possible through being mentored at an executive level for the last 14 years. I am Christian and my faith is increasingly important to me and the work I do to serve others.

➤ Being a good manager is also being a good communicator. Chess is a fun game that starts with the basic rules and moves through the 3 parts of the game: the opening, the middlegame, and the endgame.

The focus at first is to teach you how the pieces move, what the goal of the opening is, and how the pieces interact. You will also learn the vocabulary related to chess and chess notation.

Tactics are then explored to take advantage of hanging pieces, lack of king safety, space, and tempo. From here depending on what your personal goals are we will adapt the classes to cover what will help you progress.
