Ciao! Salve! I am Dutch, lived in Rome for more than 30 years and now I live in a small village in Sweden. I love Italy, its culture and language, and this resulted in a Master in Italian (and a Bachelor in French). Before I moved to Sweden I travelled with my former husband throughout the world. We lived in Australia, USA and in Europe speaking all their different languages. So, languages are a kind of “my thing”.
With me you can learn Italian at all levels; from your first approach to the most advanced. I like to give you tailor-fit lessons, which I will prepare in advance. Afterwards I will give you direct personal feed-back like transcripts of our conversation which could be of help for your further learning. I care mostly about speaking and learning the Italian culture, but also about right grammar use and vocabulary.

- I'm a professional Italian teacher from Italy, now living between Pisa and Rome. I have 10 years of teaching experience. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.

As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing.

Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing.
We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis.
We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them.
