About Me

I am a stay-at-home domestic partner. Currently I am pregnant with my first baby and I am also going to college to pursue a degree in Secondary Education with a minor in English. I live in a humble one-bedroom apartment in Shreveport, Louisiana and since my pregnancy put me out of the workforce early on, I have been finding ways to spice up my cooking while staying well within the limits that a single income provides.

Indian cooking is a vast collection of culinary traditions passed on from generations. In this class I aim to share these traditions and values to create a wide array of lip smacking Indian dishes from various regions of India.

You can choose to do an online session, an in person workshop at your place or mine. I would however highly recommend visiting an Indian household. This wouldn't be a typical workshop or a class. Come to our place and enjoy an evening, cooking delicious Indian food, sharing stories and culture.

We can decide in advance if there is any specific dish you would like to learn or customize the menu as per your taste.

On the day of the class we will cook together, chat and relish the meal that we have made together.
