Learn Greek Easily with a Native Speaker. Real conversations, real progress, zero pressure. Let's do it together!

From 40 £ /h

Hey there!
I’m a native Greek speaker, born and raised in Greece, and now teaching Greek at a Greek school right here in New York City 🇬🇷🗽

I studied Greek Language & Literature, 4 years of courses in pedagogics, also 6 years of software engineering in Greece — so yes, I know the smart stuff 📚, but I also believe learning a language should feel like a conversation, not an exam.
I’ve taught both adults and kids, and my favorite part of teaching is helping people feel relaxed and confident while they speak. Whether you’re starting from scratch or brushing up for your next trip to Greece, I’ve got your back.

Together, we’ll create the perfect schedule for your goals. Want to focus on grammar and writing? Done. Prefer to practice speaking like a local in everyday situations? Let’s do it. Need help with reading, listening, or pronunciation? We’ll cover it all — and we’ll do it in a way that makes sense for you.

And yes... if you’re planning a vacation to Greece, we can totally focus on how to order souvlaki like a pro and make Greek friends at the beach 😄
So, if you want to learn Greek without pressure, with someone who’ll make you feel comfortable from day one — I’d love to meet you!

Latin and Greek are beautiful but difficult languages to learn. Many students lose heart and motivation after a few bad grades. Together, we will look at where your stumbling blocks lie, and from there, I will help you move forward. I align as much as possible with your schoolwork. I also provide you with tools and strategies to learn (vocabulary) and translate better. This way, you strengthen the foundation, your results improve, and you go to class with more enjoyment and self-confidence again.
I also provide Latin and Greek exam training, including interim training for school exams.

Whether you’re a complete beginner, already know some Greek, or simply want to get more comfortable speaking, we can adapt the lessons to what you actually need.

I like keeping things easy-going and practical, rather than making every lesson feel like a traditional classroom. We focus on conversation, everyday Greek, understanding Greek culture and expressions, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, or anything else you’d like to learn or improve.

Most importantly, there’s no pressure - the Greek style! I focus on progress, I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and simply enjoying the process of learning Greek.
