My name is Christiana, and I’m thrilled to offer Greek language lessons to those eager to explore this beautiful and ancient language. Born and raised in Athens, Greece, I grew up in a vibrant culture, history, and traditions that make Greek so special. For over 4 years, I’ve been teaching and supporting students in mastering Greek, and I can confidently say it’s one of my greatest passions.

Teaching brings me immense joy because I love connecting with people and watching them gain confidence in their abilities. Seeing my students progress and share their excitement about learning Greek inspires me every day. I now live in Amsterdam, where I’ve been happily calling home for the past 7 years, and I’d love to bring a little bit of Greece to you—whether you’re learning for travel, work, or simply for fun. Teaching Ancient and Modern Greek, as a foreign language, had been my passion for almost 9 years now. Greek Philology was my BA, and I am currently graduating from my Research Master Program in Indo-European and Comparative Linguistics from the VU University Amsterdam.

In this course you will learn Modern Greek (with some mentioning on Ancient Greek roots of the words, for anyone that is interested), grammar, spelling, vocabulary, punctuation and sentence formation.

I will provide the learning materials and together we will come up with fun activities to incorporate in our classes to turn learning into fun!

*Greek is a very challenging language, thus the classes will be personalized depending on each student's goals, capabilities and knowledge*

I am a native Greek speaker with a University Degree in Psychology and Humanitarian Science. I have experience with helping children with their homework and a patient tutor.

Hello to everyone! I am Manolis and I am a certified teacher in primary education. Together we can learn the language, the history and of course we can travel to Greece through the cuisine! I earned my Bachelor in the University of Ioannina as a primary teacher. I have one Master in Digital Technologies in Education and an other one in Intercultural Education.

Since I have been away from my country for some years now, I have decided that the time has come to start teaching everything that I know about my country's language and culture. If you're up for it we may occassionally dive into the greek culinary experience as well. Join me on this exciting journey to explore the beauty of the Greek language and culture. I am passionate and dedicated to help you achieve your language learning goals, and I tailor my lessons to accommodate your individual needs. I especially enjoy working with kids, as I have experience both in teaching and caring for children. I have a couple of years of experience in preschoolers' music education and a 10 year background of studies in music. Also, since 2020 I have taught music both privately and in class settings. Currently, I'm doing my Bachelor's in Psychology. I'm committed to personal growth and lifelong learning, values that I wish to convey to my students as well. At the beginning, my lessons are taught either in English or Italian, depending on your preference.
