I am a professional linguist with several years of experience in teaching languages to groups and individuals. During my lessons I first of all concentrate on speaking, combining it will grammar explanation, vocabulary expansion and cultural acquaintance. My classes are very beneficial - you will feel your progress from class to class. I myself mastered several languages and use different methods to share my knowledge depending on the student's needs, abilities and temperament.

In the past 13 years – since graduation – I have been working with a wide range of people form all over the world. I have been teaching not only the university students, help desk agents, but also middle and senior level managers join to our one-to-one and group sessions.

Besides the general language courses the most popular sessions are specialized on HR and software development terminology.

As one of the most employed Hungarian as a Foreign Language Teacher I got the opportunity to participate in 3 projects funded by the European Union and the Hungarian Ministry of Interior, in these 3 projects I gave over 2500 lessons for more than 300 language learners.

When COVID-19 came, I started teaching only over Skype, and I just love it. I use Google doc. Google doc is like an interactive platform, what we can edit together at the same time, in the beginning of the class it is like a pure text book, in the end it is like your notebook with vocabulary and the solved tasks etc. I use Skype to speak on.

I'm a highly qualified and experienced translator and a language teacher for German and Hungarian. Being a translator and a polyglot enables me to see languages and their grammar systems from a different angle than 'regular' Hungarian native speakers or school teachers. Based on my training and my regional expertise I also provide a variety of language support services for Hungarian.

I have taught both in the private sector and in numerous language schools, adults and children of different ages. I can offer Hungarian to university level, for this is my mother-tongue, and German to B2 level since I live and work in Vienna for more than 20 years now. I came here to study and made my Bachelor's degree in Transcultural Communication and a Master's degree in Translation and Terminology Sciences at the University of Vienna then settled down with a good man and built a family. I also have a teaching qualification for 'German as a Foreign Language' from the University of Kassel in Germany, and didactic training on the renowned BERLITZ-method for 'Native Speaker Language Teachers'. Usually, I work from home, where I have a vast library of teaching resources such as worksheets, textbooks, picture dictionaries, flashcards, games, and lots of books for Beginners with Hungarian-German-English parallel texts, short stories for Easy Readers, etc.

I use varying tutoring approaches, because no two learners are alike, whereby enjoyment is an important factor in my lessons. I very much like to use the latest technology and teaching techniques, but also have an extensive compilation of Hungarian language games, cards, songs, short stories, videos. I'm fond of and really appreciate internet sources to teach Hungarian, for I do believe that learning Hungarian can be fun. I aim to foster a friendly but professional relationship with each of my students, to build their confidence and self-belief when they learn a new language. I work as a freelance translator, and I am also a certified and experienced German teacher. I am from Hungary, and I was living in Austria for a while, where I studied Pedagogy (University Innsbruck, BFI Vienna) and taught German for private students and groups of international students.

I have been teaching languages for 15 years and in the last 5 years I have been an online tutor. I think it is a fantastic way to help students and it is really convenient for students too avoiding commuting from and to the teacher
I always pay close attention to that all materials, videos, podcasts , worksheets, articles and texts should be the most up- to- date. In the first lesson we always clarify the students' needs and goals with the language as well as assessing the individual levels.

In the first lesson, I like to know your goal and your purpose why you want to learn Hungarian. Then we can agree on the learning methods. Everybody is different, therefore I always try to fit the lessons to your personal needs. I will share all the studying materials with you, you don't need to buy anything.

I prefer to focus on communications. Grammar is important, but if you can't communicate, your grammar knowledge is almost useless. During a lesson we talk a lot with my students, I explain the grammar, but usually they practice it alone as homework. Obviously, if they have a problem, we practice together.
