Hi there! I’m a native Japanese speaker living in Saitama, Japan.

I am a professional online tutor with over 20 years of experience teaching students from elementary to high school. I offer personalized lessons for everyone—from absolute beginners (including children) to intermediate learners.

Open to all levels of Japanese, based on the textbook Tobira OR Genki, I am flexible to the student and their needs, and I am able to help with all aspects, such as speaking (formal or informal), writing, and vocabulary. My goal is to help the student become comfortable, and depending on the time the student has as well as their level, I am able to accommodate and also make study sets as well; however, for beginners, time spent studying and memorising is critical.
