I am a native Mandrine Chinese speaker and aslo a student who is currently undertaking a Masters course in university. I was schooled in China for more than eighteen years before coming to UK, therefore I have a very good understanding of Chinese culture as well as the language. I had years experience in teaching Chinese and English in my spare time when I was in China and after I moved here.

I would like to help someone who already has some basic knowledge in Mandarin and would like to focus on certain aspects (i.e speaking, grammar, writing), or if they need help with understanding Chinese novels, or you just need someone to practice speaking with, I can be a good help for that. As I said above, I am a student myself so I completely understand the difficulty of learning a new language, I am flexible in the ways of teaching, just let me know your goals and I am sure we can work out how we can do this so it will benefit you the most.

I’m from Rome and am fluent in Italian, English and Mandarin Chinese. Previously studied in Italy for 5 years, I improved my Chinese translation skills while taking a double BA in Mandarin Chinese and Art History at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London (SOAS). Due to my interest in Chinese language and culture, I had the opportunity to live and study in Beijing for several years. I passed the Chinese Proficiency Test HSK5, and now self-studying for HSK6 (top level).

Don't worry if you are a total beginner, an expert or in the middle, my teaching method is based on active conversation supported by grammar exercises, quizzes and everyday phrases to help you get the most out from the first lesson. The post-session exercises will be tailor made according to your level and needs.
