I am Carolina, a 51 year old Argentinian woman with a varied career, having evolved from scientific research to teaching biology and sex education to finally dedicating myself to teaching my native language, Spanish .
Throughout my life, languages have been a true passion for me. I studied English, French and Italian. My interest in multiculturalism and the desire to live in an environment where I can express myself in another language is so strong that I made the decision to move to Europe. I explored Italy, Spain, Prague, and finally decided to settle in France.
This experience sparked in me a real passion for the transition from teaching biology to teaching Spanish. I am convinced that language is the key that opens the door to new experiences and broadens our horizons. My name is Dani and I am Mexican. I always ask my students about their specific goals and their preferred way of learning a language. In my classes I like to take a conversational approach, but this depends entirely on the needs of my students. I use different books with different didactic material, mostly Aula Plus and Bitacora. I also try to practice all skills: talking, writing and listening. If the student wants it, I leave homework, which I correct during the week before the next lesson, so that we can make the most of the lesson time. I share a word or phrase of the week with my students to build a useful vocabulary. Teaching is my passion. I feel motivated by the progress of my students, which I believe also keeps them motivated.
