I studied primary education and after a few years I decided to study a master's degree in teaching Spanish as a foreign language because I love teaching my language. I did my internship in a Spanish academy in Madrid for adults and when I finished I was hired as a teacher. My name is Dani and I am Mexican. I always ask my students about their specific goals and their preferred way of learning a language. In my classes I like to take a conversational approach, but this depends entirely on the needs of my students. I use different books with different didactic material, mostly Aula Plus and Bitacora. I also try to practice all skills: talking, writing and listening. If the student wants it, I leave homework, which I correct during the week before the next lesson, so that we can make the most of the lesson time. I share a word or phrase of the week with my students to build a useful vocabulary. Teaching is my passion. I feel motivated by the progress of my students, which I believe also keeps them motivated. German and Spanish are my native languages and I speak fluent English, I also speak fluent Dutch (with a little accent). Therefore, I can explain concepts in all these languages. Conversational Spanish is a very important part of the learning as it is the natural way to learn it. My classes are designed to help students to learn in a natural way by choosing a topic and dealing with that topic from all angles: grammar, speaking, listening and translating.
